Where and When Skateboarding

You can find skateboarding all over the nation and even other countries. Skateboarding is more typical down south because of the beautiful weather and nicely paved roads, but is surely moving North. You can skate almost anywhere there is cement. Even cruising around Strongsville you can see stair sets and curbs to grind. The most exciting place to skate is at skateparks with fellow skaters. There are also indoor skateparks which are open year round due to the crappy winter weather.

Skateshops are poping up everywhere across the nation. It is very easy to find a skateboard anywhere. With th enew technology today, You can easily find a board you like online and have it shipped to your house. The more avaliable skateboard are the easier it is.

Vert skateboarding is the most original kind of skating, besides the 60's and 70's "sidwalk surging." It is made up of many different types of ramps and rails, with so many tricks to do. The most famous vert skater of all time is Tony Hawk. He is most famous for landing the first 900 and commiting to the loop. This is more of an airial type of skating that involves a lot of spins an dslides on bigger scale things. This differs a lot from street because it's generally inside. Vert can be things like bowls to power slide in, usually at skate parks.

The more common type of skating is street skating. This is more common because not every teenage skater has some mini ramps, and quarter pipes avalable. So they result to going to the streets and finding new spots. This includes more spots like gaps, stairs, handrails and curbs. The style of skating on street is also very different. When skating this, skaters more commonly do flip tricks and shuves and slso you get less air. Street is definately more common, however vert is the elder of the two.
